Not to contradict ourselves, but here at the Hostal de La Noria our public spaces have the feel of privacy and offer the same relaxed, yet privileged, ambiance of the past - when the Hostal stood as an elegant private home - a comfortable breezy patio with a fountain in the center surrounded by lovely tables topped by sun- umbrellas, corridors with planters, hanging lamps and candles, occasional chairs for quiet conversation.

    
 

Should it rain we merely pull back our ingenious open air roof cover so that our guests can remain undisturbed.

Of course, we also have a wonderful restaurant, 'Asunción' frequented by Oaxacan society and enjoyed by all our guests. You can sit inside on early cool mornings or have your breakfast brought out to you in the patio. Lunch and dinner are also served both indoors and out.
